Trout Fishing

I take great pride in our Trout fishery we have here in Tampa Bay. While there are many other species of fish for us to target, Trout are consistently available to catch year round. Unlike a few other fish that tend to slow down during extreme weather conditions such as hot or cold, there are always Trout to be found that are willing to bite.

Another nice thing about Trout fishing in Tampa Bay is the fact that we can catch them in many different places with a verity of lures and live baits. Shallow grass flats, bridge structure and the creeks and canals that line the backcountry all these are examples of places to find and catch Trout. We seem to catch them even while targeting other species like Snook and Redfish which shows how plentiful they are.

During the early spring, mid summer and late fall, we catch huge Trout on a regular basis that can range anywhere from 18 to 28 inches and weigh up to 5 lbs or more. When the bite is on, we can catch them as fast as you can get a bait on the hook and in the water.
